James Keith Marshall

James Keith was born on April 17th, 1839 in Fauquier Co., VA. James Keith's father was Edward Carrington Marshall and his mother was Rebecca Courtenay Peyton. His paternal grandparents were John Marshall and Mary Willis Ambler; his maternal grandparents were John Peyton and Mary Chiswell Lewis. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward Carrington, Jaquelin Ambler, Mary Lewis, Rebecca Peyton, Betsy Lewis and Courtenay Norton. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 24 on July 3rd, 1863 in Gettysburg, PA.
