Randolph Marshall 
Randolph was born on December 8th, 1877 in "The Crag", Fauquier Co., VA. Randolph's father was Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and his mother was Rebecca Peyton Marshall. His paternal grandparents were Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and Eliza Letitia Steptoe Clarkson; his maternal grandparents were Edward Carrington Marshall and Rebecca Courtenay Peyton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jaquelin Ambler, Edward Carrington, William Clarkson, Yelverton Peyton, Marion Lewis, Rebecca Peyton, Eliza Clarkson and Mildred Pickett. He was the youngest of the nine children.-
