Mildred Pickett Marshall 
Mildred Pickett was born on November 8th, 1875 in "The Crag", Fauquier Co., VA. Mildred Pickett's father was Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and her mother was Rebecca Peyton Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and Eliza Letitia Steptoe Clarkson; her maternal grandparents were Edward Carrington Marshall and Rebecca Courtenay Peyton. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Jaquelin Ambler, Edward Carrington, William Clarkson, Yelverton Peyton, Marion Lewis, Randolph, Rebecca Peyton and Eliza Clarkson. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 63 on October 31st, 1939. She was buried in November 1939 in Leeds Church, Hume, Fauquier Co., VA.-
