Samuel Buckner Goodman 
Samuel Buckner was born on October 16th, 1870 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia. Samuel Buckner's father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and his mother was Ann Marie Harris. His paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; his maternal grandparents were William Harris and Susan Stanley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John Franklin, Edgar Muriel, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Charles Granerson, Richard Nicholas, Thomas Solomon, Herbert Harrington, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina, Emma Lucy and Hanover Louisa. He died at the age of 68 on December 10th, 1938.-
