Charles Granerson Goodman 
Charles Granerson was born on February 18th, 1835 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA. Charles Granerson's father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and his mother was Virginia Tomkin Stanley. His paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; his maternal grandparents were Solomon Stanley and ? Wadkins. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Richard Nicholas, Thomas Solomon, Herbert Harrington, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina, Emma Lucy and Hanover Louisa. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Franklin, Edgar Muriel, Samuel Buckner, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. He died at the age of 44 on December 28th, 1879.-
