Herbert Harrington Goodman 
Herbert Harrington was born on January 4th, 1848 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA. Herbert Harrington's father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and his mother was Virginia Tomkin Stanley. His paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; his maternal grandparents were Solomon Stanley and ? Wadkins. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Charles Granerson, Richard Nicholas, Thomas Solomon, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina, Emma Lucy and Hanover Louisa. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Franklin, Edgar Muriel, Samuel Buckner, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. He died at the age of 92 on February 14th, 1940 in Pocatello, Bannock Co., Idaho.-
