Emma Lucy Goodman 
Emma Lucy was born on September 20th, 1843 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA. Emma Lucy's father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and her mother was Virginia Tomkin Stanley. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; her maternal grandparents were Solomon Stanley and ? Wadkins. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Charles Granerson, Richard Nicholas, Thomas Solomon, Herbert Harrington, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina and Hanover Louisa. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Franklin, Edgar Muriel, Samuel Buckner, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. She died at the age of 7 on October 9th, 1850.-
