Edgar Muriel Goodman 
Edgar Muriel was born on January 12th, 1865 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia. Edgar Muriel's father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and his mother was Ann Marie Harris. His paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; his maternal grandparents were William Harris and Susan Stanley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John Franklin, Samuel Buckner, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Charles Granerson, Richard Nicholas, Thomas Solomon, Herbert Harrington, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina, Emma Lucy and Hanover Louisa. He died at the age of 87 in October 1952 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia.-
