Richard Nicholas Goodman 
Richard Nicholas was born on February 22nd, 1841 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA. Richard Nicholas' father was Christopher Columbus Goodman and his mother was Virginia Tomkin Stanley. His paternal grandparents were Richard Goodman and Molly Beaughn; his maternal grandparents were Solomon Stanley and ? Wadkins. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Callum Boyd, William Granville, Lexington, Charles Granerson, Thomas Solomon, Herbert Harrington, Mary Jane, Margaret Perlina, Emma Lucy and Hanover Louisa. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Franklin, Edgar Muriel, Samuel Buckner, Horace Greely, Nina and Molly Elizabeth. He died at the age of 20 on February 13th, 1862.-
