Landon Carter 
Landon was born in 1767. Landon's father was Charles Carter and his mother was Mary Walker Carter. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Elizabeth Hill; his maternal grandparents were Charles Carter and Mary Walker. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Hill, Charles William, George, Charles, Edward, Mary Walker and Elizabeth Hill. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had eight half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert Hill, Robert Hill, Bernard, John, Bernard Moore, William, Butler, William Fitzhugh, Anne Hill, Catherine Spotswood, Mildred Walker, Lucy, ?, ? and Culphemea. He died at the age of 2 in 1769.-
