Catherine Spotswood Carter 
Catherine Spotswood was born in 1778. Catherine Spotswood's father was Charles Carter and her mother was Anne Butler Moore. Her paternal grandparents were John Carter and Elizabeth Hill; her maternal grandparents were Bernard Moore and Ann Catherine Spottswood. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Robert Hill, Robert Hill, Bernard, John, Bernard Moore, William, Butler, William Fitzhugh, Anne Hill, Mildred Walker, Lucy, ?, ? and Culphemea. She was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Hill, Charles William, George, Charles, Landon, Edward, Mary Walker and Elizabeth Hill. She died at the age of 31 in 1809.-
