Michael Bogisich (Mihály)

Michael was born in October 1779 in Buda and his baptism took place on October 28th, 1779 conducted by Florianus Gyurakovich.¹   His godfather was Georgius Bosnjak and his godmother was Rosalia.  Michael's father was Gregorius Bogisich and his mother was Martha Bokonich.  His paternal grandparents were Matthias Simon Bogisich and Catharina Antolovich. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Stephanus, Georgius, Matthias, Josephus, Matthias, Eva, Anna, Christina and Roza.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Matheus, Elisabetha and Rozalia.  He died at the age of 6 on April 4th, 1786 in Buda.  The funeral took place in 1786 and was arranged by Fr Adalbertus.^1 1
