Christina Bogisich

Christina was born in 1782 in Buda and her baptism took place on May 2nd, 1782 conducted by Florianus Gyurakovich.¹   Her godmother was Rosalia Kovacs.  Christina's father was Gregorius Bogisich and her mother was Martha Bokonich.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthias Simon Bogisich and Catharina Antolovich. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Stephanus, Michael, Georgius, Matthias, Josephus, Matthias, Eva, Anna and Roza.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Matheus, Elisabetha and Rozalia.
