Georgius Bogisich (György)

Georgius was born in 1786 in Buda and his baptism took place on November 27th, 1786 conducted by Fr Leonardus.¹   His godmother was  Rosalia Antonovich.  Georgius' father was Gregorius Bogisich and his mother was Martha Bokonich.  His paternal grandparents were Matthias Simon Bogisich and Catharina Antolovich. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Stephanus, Michael, Matthias, Josephus, Matthias, Eva, Anna, Christina and Roza.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Matheus, Elisabetha and Rozalia.  He died from a stroke at the age of 59 on January 14th, 1845 in Buda.  The funeral took place in 1845 and was arranged by Fr Király.^1 1
