Matthias Simon Bogisich (Mátyás)

Matthias was born in 1727 in Buda and his baptism took place on March 1st, 1727.¹   Matthias' father was Josephus Bogisich and his mother was Martha Ivanovicha.  His paternal grandparents were Josephus Bogisich and Catharina. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Michael, Fabianus, Joanes, Josephus, Antonius, Joannes, Franciscus, Petrus, Catharina, Francisca and Maria.  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 34 on December 28th, 1761 in Buda.  The funeral took place in 1761 at St Katalin plébánia and was arranged by Fr Leopoldus.^1 1
