Margaret de was born in 1229 in of Dudley, Worcestershire, England.  Margaret de's father was Roger de Somery Lord Dudley and her mother was Nichole d'Aubigny.  Her paternal grandparents were Sir Ralph de Somery Lord Dudley and Margaret Marshall; her maternal grandparents were William III d'Aubigny 3rd Earl of Arundel and Sussex and Mabel De Meschines. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ralph de, Joan de and Mabel de.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Roger II, John, Roger III, Ralph and Lora de.  She died after June 18th, 1293 in Dudley, Staffordshire, England.
