William II le Breton was born in 1139 in Arundel Castle,Arundel,West Sussex,England.1   William II le Breton's father was William Stronghand d'Aubigny Earl of Arundel, Lincoln and Sussex and his mother was Adeliza De Brabant [Queen 0f England].  His paternal grandparents were William de Albini d'Aubigny Pincerna and Maud Le Bigod; his maternal grandparents were " Barbatus the Bearded" Duke of Lorraine, Count of Leuven and Brabant, Duke of Lower Lotharingen Godfrey I and Countess Of Namur Clementia. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Godfrey, Simon Pincerna, Reynor, Henry, Alice, Olivia, Matilda and Agatha.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 54 on December 24th, 1193 in Arundel Castle,Arundel,West Sussex,England.  He was buried in Wymondham Priory, Norfolk, England.1

‌William II le Breton and Maud or Matilda de were married in a religious ceremony in Arundel Castle, West Sussex, England.1   They had four sons and three daughters, named William III, Hugh II, Alan, Godfrey, Cecily, Avice Agnes de Arundel and Joan.
