Ranulph III de was born about 1070 in of Meschines,Bessin,Calvados,Normandy.1   Ranulph III de's father was Ranulph II Of Bayeux Vicomte of Bayeux and his mother was Maud (Margaret) D' Avranches.  His paternal grandfather was Ranulf de Bayeux Vicomte Bayeux and his paternal grandmother is Alix of Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Richard  "Le Goz" Vicomte D'Avranches and Lady Emma de Conteville. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William de, William, Geoffrey de, Robert de, Lord William, Ranulph Bayeux, Matilda Le, Agnes of and Helga.  He was the second oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers named Robert I Fitzharold de and John De.  He died in of Chester,Cheshire,England.  He was buried in St. Werburgh, Chester, Cheshire, England.2

‌Ranulph III de and Lucia were married in a religious ceremony in 1098 in England.2   They had two sons and four daughters, named Ranulph de, William De, Adeliza de, Alice Of, Agnes Le and N.N..
