Her paternal grandfather was Ebles 'Manzer' Poitiers Duke of Aquitaine and her paternal grandmother is Emiliane of Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Duke 'the Dane' 1st Duke of Normandy Rollo and Poppa de Valois Duchess of Normandy. She had two brothers named William IV Hugh Count of Poitiers and "Iron Arms", Count of Poitou. She was the youngest of the three children. She died in 1004.2 General Notes
