Agnes of was born about 1073 in Normandy, France. Agnes of's father was Ranulph II Of Bayeux Vicomte of Bayeux and her mother was Maud (Margaret) D' Avranches. Her paternal grandfather was Ranulf de Bayeux Vicomte Bayeux and her paternal grandmother is Alix of Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Le Goz" Vicomte D'Avranches and Lady Emma de Conteville. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Ranulph III de, William de, William, Geoffrey de, Robert de, Lord William, Ranulph Bayeux, Matilda Le and Helga. She is the fifth oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers named Robert I Fitzharold de and John De.General Notes
