Gilbert de Clare 
Gilbert was born on May 10th, 1291. Gilbert's father was Gilbert the Red de Clare and his mother was Joan of Acre Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Clare and Maude de Lacy; his maternal grandparents were Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of England and Eleanor of Castile & Leon. He had three sisters named Eleanor (Alinore), Margaret and Elizabeth. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Joan, Isabella, Mary and Joan. He died at the age of 23 on June 24th, 1314 in Battle of Bannockburn. He was buried in 1314 in Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester, England.-
