Eleanor of was born in 1123 in Chateau de Belin, Guinne, France.  Eleanor of's father was William X the Toulousan of Aquitaine and her mother was Eleanor Chatellerault de Rochefoucauld.  Her paternal grandparents were William IX the Troubador of Aquitaine and Maude Phillippa of Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Aimery I de Chatellerault and Dangerose de l'ilse Bouchard. She had a sister named Petronella (Alix) of.  She was the older of the two children.  She died about 1203 in Fontevrault,  Anjou, France.  She was buried in 1204 in Fontevraud Abbey, Maine-et-Loire, France.


Eleanor of's first family with Louis VII Capet the Younger of France

‌Eleanor of and Louis VII Capet the Younger of were married in a religious ceremony on July 22nd, 1137 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Bordeaux, France.  Their marriage was annulled.  They had two daughters named Marie Capet of and Alisa Capet of.


Eleanor of's second family with Henry II Curtmantle FitzEmpress of England

‌Eleanor of and Henry II Curtmantle FitzEmpress of were married in a religious ceremony on May 18th, 1152 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Bordeaux, France.  They had five sons and three daughters, named William of, Richard I Coeur de Lion of, Geoffrey II Plantagenet of, John I Plantagenet Lackland of, Henry the Young King of, Matilda (Maud), Eleanor and Joan.
