Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert de Clare and Isabella (Marshall) Mareschal; her maternal grandparents were John de Lacy and Margaret de Quincey. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Lord Gilbert, Thomas, Bevis Benet, Robert, Isabel, Margaret, Maud, Eglantine and Eleanor. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died after 1316.-
