Adam was born about 1120 in Surrey.  Adam's father was Earl William III de Warenne and her mother was Countess Isabel de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were William deWarenne Earl of Surrey and Princess Gundred England; her maternal grandparents were Hugh The Great Crepi Of France and Adelai de Vermandois. She had a brother and two sisters, named William IV Earl Of Surrey, Gundred Adelaide and Gundred.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William III, Robert II Earl, Isabel and Isabel(Elizabeth).  She died in 1178.
