Robert II Earl was born in 1104 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.  Robert II Earl's father was Earl Robert deBeaumont of Meulan and his mother was Countess Isabel de Vermandois.  His paternal grandparents were Count Roger deBeaumont and Countess Adeliza Countess Meulent; his maternal grandparents were Hugh The Great Crepi Of France and Adelai de Vermandois. He had two sisters named Isabel and Isabel(Elizabeth).  He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert, Waleran IV, William IV Earl Of Surrey, Alice, Gundred Adelaide, Gundred and Adam.  He died at the age of 64 on April 5th, 1168 in England.
