Isabel was born in 1086 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.  Isabel's father was Earl Robert deBeaumont of Meulan and her mother was Countess Isabel de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Roger deBeaumont and Countess Adeliza Countess Meulent; her maternal grandparents were Hugh The Great Crepi Of France and Adelai de Vermandois. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert II Earl and Isabel(Elizabeth).  She was the oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert, Waleran IV, William IV Earl Of Surrey, Alice, Gundred Adelaide, Gundred and Adam.  She died about 1147.
