Henry I was born about September 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.1   Henry I's father was King William The Conqueror and his mother was Matilda of Flanders.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Robert III (The Devil) Normandy and Herleva de Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Baldwin "the Pious" "debonnaire" of Flanders V and Adelaide(Adela) de France. He had five half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Henry I, Henry I, Henry I, Henry I "Beauclerc", the Elder, Gundred Princess of, Gundred, Gundred, Adela Princess of, Anna, Adele Beauclerc, Maud Margaret Princess of and Gundred Princess Of.  He died on December 1st, 1135 in St. denis-le-Fermont, Near Gisors, Angers, Maine-Et-Loire, Fra.  He was buried in Reading Abbey, Berkshire, England.1
