Adela Princess of was born in 1064 in Normandy, France.  Adela Princess of's father was King William The Conqueror and her mother was Matilda de Flanders.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Robert III (The Devil) Normandy and Herleva de Falaise; her maternal grandparents were Count Baldwin V Count of Flanders and Princess Adela Capet Princess of France. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Henry I, Henry I, Henry I, Henry I "Beauclerc", Gundred Princess of, Gundred, Gundred, Anna, Adele Beauclerc and Maud Margaret Princess of.  She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry I, the Elder and Gundred Princess Of.  She died in Marsilly, Charente-Maritime, France.
