Richard "Strongbow" was born in 1125 in Tunbridge, Kent, England and his baptism took place in 91sf-H7.  Richard "Strongbow"'s father was Gilbert deClare , Earl Of Pembroke and his mother was Isabel de Beaumont.  His paternal grandparents were Earl Gilbert Fitz Richard de Clare and Adeliza or Adelaide de Claremont; his maternal grandparents were Earl Robert deBeaumont of Meulan and Countess Isabel de Vermandois. He had a sister named Rohese. He had a half-sister named Constance Matilda Plantagenet.  He died at the age of 51 on April 20th, 1176 in Dublin,Ireland.  He was buried in Holy Trinity Church, Dublin, Leinster, Ire.
