David was born about 1147 in Scotland.  David's father was Earl Henry Earl Of Huntingdon and his mother was Adam de Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were David I "The Saint" King Of Scotland and Matilda Maud deLens; his maternal grandparents were Earl William III de Warenne and Countess Isabel de Vermandois. He had a brother and three sisters, named The Lion, Margaret, Margret and Ada Princess.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died on June 17th, 1219 in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland.

‌David and Matilda were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1190.  They had two daughters named Margaret Scott and Ada.
