William of Scots, known as The Lion, was born in 1143 in Scot..  The Lion's father was Earl Henry of Huntingdon and his mother was Ada or Adelaide Warren.  His paternal grandparents were King David I of Scots (The Saint) and Maud of Huntigdon & Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Earl William of Surrey Warren and Isabel of Vermandois. He had a sister named Margaret of Huntingdon.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 71 on December 4th, 1214 in Stirling, Stir, Scot..  He was buried on December 10th, 1214 in Arbroath, Angu, Scot..
