David I of Scots, known as The Saint, was born about 1080 in Albanch, Scot..  The Saint's father was King Malcolm III of Scots and his mother was Prcs Margaret of England.  His paternal grandparents were King Duncan I of Scots and Sybil of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Pr. Edward of England and Agatha. He had two sisters named Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland and Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died on May 24th, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumb, England..  He was buried in Dunfermline, Fife, Scot..


The Saint's family with Maud of Huntigdon & Northumbria

‌The Saint and Maud of Huntigdon & Northumbria were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son named Henry of Huntingdon.
