Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland was born in 1079 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scot..  Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland's father was King Malcolm III of Scots and her mother was Prcs Margaret of England.  Her paternal grandparents were King Duncan I of Scots and Sybil of Northumbria; her maternal grandparents were Pr. Edward of England and Agatha. She had a brother and a sister, named The Saint and Matilda (Eadgith) of Scotland.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 39 on May 1st, 1118 in Westminster, Mdsx, England..
