Ingegerda Olafsdottir of Sweden was born about 1001 in , Uppsala, u, Sweden.  Ingegerda Olafsdottir of Sweden's father was King Olaf II Eriksson of Sweden (Skotkoenig) and her mother was Prcs Astrid of Obotrites.  Her paternal grandparents were King Erik VI Bjornsson of Sweden and Sigrid Starade (The Haughty); her maternal grandparents were Prc Mieceslas III of Obotrites and Sofia. She had three sisters named Ingegerda Olafsdottir of Sweden, Estrid Olafsdatter of Sweden and Estrid Olafsdatter of Sweden.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-sisters named Astrid Olafsdatter of Sweden and Astrid Olafsdatter of Sweden.  She died on February 10th, 1050 in Kiev, Kiev, Ukraine.
