Elizabeth was born on September 16th, 1295 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.  Elizabeth's father was Sir Gilbert the Red de Earl of Gloucester and her mother was Joan of Acre Plantagenet Cts de Gloucester.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard de Clare Earl of Gloucester & Hertford and Maude de Lacy Cts de Lincoln; her maternal grandparents were Edward I Longshanks King of England and Eleanora de Castile Cts de Ponthieu. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gilbert de Clare, Margaret and Eleanor. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas de Monthermer, Edward de Montthermer, Isabella, Joan, Mary and Joan.  She died at the age of 65 on November 4th, 1360.

‌Elizabeth and John de Burgh were married in a religious ceremony in 1308.  They had a son named William the Brown Earl de Burgh.


Elizabeth's second family with Roger Damory Baron Amory

‌Elizabeth and Roger Damory were married in a religious ceremony on May 3rd, 1317.  They had a daughter named Elizabeth.


Elizabeth's third family with Ralph de la Roche

‌Elizabeth and Ralph were married in a religious ceremony after 1322.  They had a son named David.
