Johanna de Dammartin was born in 1216 in Abbeville, France.  Johanna de Dammartin's father was Simon de Dammartin II de Aum,le Ct de Aum,le and her mother was Marie (Jeanne) de Ponthieu Cts de Ponthieu.  Her paternal grandparents were Alberic II de Dammartin Ct de Dammartin and Maud de Clermont de Ponthieu; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume II Talvas de Ponthieu Ct de Ponthieu and Alice Capet de Ponthieu de France. She had three sisters named Agatha, Marie and Philippa.  She died in Abbeville, France.
