Eleanor de Aquitaine was born in 1123 in Chateau de Belin, Gironde, Aquitaine.  Eleanor de Aquitaine's father was William VIII Count of Poitou , X Duke d'Aquitaine and her mother was Eleanor de Chatellerault.  Her paternal grandparents were William VII Count of Poitou , IX Duke d'Aquitaine and Philippa (Maud\Matilda) de Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Aimery (Almeric) I Vicomte de Chatellerault and Dangereuse de L'Isle Bouchard. She had a sister named Adelaide (Adele) d'.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 81 on April 1st, 1204 in Mirabell Castle, Fontevrault, Anjou, France.


Eleanor de Aquitaine's first family

‌Eleanor de Aquitaine were married in a religious ceremony on July 22nd, 1137 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Bordeaux, France.  She had three biological daughters named Agnes Capet, Marie Capet and Alisa Capet.


Eleanor de Aquitaine's second family with Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou King of England

‌Eleanor de Aquitaine and Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou were married in a religious ceremony on May 18th, 1152 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Bordeaux, France.  They had six sons and three daughters, named William Plantagenet, Richard I Coeur de Lion, Geoffrey, Philip, John Lackland Plantagenet, Henry the Young King, Matilda (Maud), Eleanor and Joan.
