David of Huntington was born in 1144 in Huntington, England.1   David of Huntington's father was Henry of Huntington Earl of Huntington and his mother was Adelaide (Ada) de Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were David I King of Scotland and Matilda (Maud) of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were William de Warenne II Earl of Warren & Surrey and Isabella Capet de Crépi. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Malcolm IV the Maiden, William I the Lion, Ada, Margaret de Huntington and Mathilda.  He died at the age of 75 on June 17th, 1219 in England.1
