William I the Conqueror was born on October 14th, 1024 in Falaise, Normandy, France.1   William I the Conqueror's father was Robert I the Devil Duke of Normandy and his mother was Herleva (Arlette) de Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were Richard II le Bon Duke of Normandy and Judith de Brittany; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert the Tanner de Falaise and Duxia de Falaise. He had a sister named Adeliza de Normandy. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert de Burgo de Mortaigne and Emma.  He died  due to Fatal fall frpm a horse. at the age of 62 on September 9th, 1087 in Hermentrube (near Rouen), France.1
