Richard II le Bon was born in 0958 in of Normandy, France.1 Richard II le Bon's father was Richard I the Fearless Duke of Normandy and his mother was Gunnor de Crêpon. His paternal grandparents were William I Longsword Duke of Normandy and Sprota (Adela) de Senlis; his maternal grandparents were Harald VII Bluetooth Gormsson King of Denmark and Gunild Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Godfrey, Robert de Evereaux, Ralph de Ivrea, William de Hiesmes, Matilda (Mahaud), Hedwig (Havoise), Beatrice and Emma. He had a half-sister named Fredesende. He died at the age of 68 on August 28th, 1026 in Fecamp, S-Infr, France.1 -
