St. Margaret the Exile was born in 1045 in Hungary.1   St. Margaret the Exile's father was Edward the Outlaw Atheling of England and her mother was Agatha von Brunswick.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund II Ironsides King of England and Ealdgyth "Swan-neck" (of England); her maternal grandfather was Ludolphe von Brunswick Mar de Saxony. She had a brother and a sister, named Edgar Atheling and Mathilde.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 48 on November 16th, 1093 in Edinburg Castle, Scotland.1
