William Anderson

William was born on July 15th, 1876 in Kintrea, New Spynie, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland. William's father was Robert Anderson and his mother was Ann Riach. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Anderson and Margaret McIntyre; his maternal grandparents were William Riach and Janet Gordon. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, Robert, Hugh, James, Jessie, Margaret, Jane, Ann, Elspet, Marjory and Catherine. He was the eighth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 in 1951 in 8 Victoria Square, Rose Street, Inverness.
