Robert Anderson

Robert was born on August 1st, 1842 in Drainie, Lossiemouth, Morayshire, Scotland and his baptism took place there on August 7th, 1842. Robert's father was Alexander Anderson and his mother was Margaret McIntyre. His paternal grandparents were William Anderson and Marjory Adam; his maternal grandparents were Donald (Hugh) McIntyre and Elspet James. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Hugh, Alex, Alexander, James, David, Marjory and Elspet. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died from a heart attack at the age of 73 in 1915 in Longly, Edinkillie.
