Alex Anderson

Alex was born on November 28th, 1834 in Port Cummingston, Morayshire, Scotland. Alex's father was Alexander Anderson and his mother was Margaret McIntyre. His paternal grandparents were William Anderson and Marjory Adam; his maternal grandparents were Donald (Hugh) McIntyre and Elspet James. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander, Robert, James, David, Marjory and Elspet. He was the third oldest of the nine children.
