Hugh Anderson

Hugh was born in 1884 in Edinkillie, Moray, Scotland. Hugh's father was Robert Anderson and his mother was Ann Riach. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Anderson and Margaret McIntyre; his maternal grandparents were William Riach and Janet Gordon. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, William, Robert, James, Jessie, Margaret, Jane, Ann, Elspet, Marjory and Catherine. He was the tenth oldest of the twelve children.
