Jane was born in 1774 in Killingholme, Lincoln, England and her christening took place there on September 4th, 1774.  Jane's father was Mathew Rack and her mother was Jane Paddison.  Her paternal grandparents were William Rack and Anne Sommerscales. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Mathew, Rebecca, Arabella, Ann and Billy.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Mary.  She died in 1774 in Killingholme, Lincoln, England.
