Ann was born in 1781 in Killingholme, Lincoln, England and her christening took place there on March 18th, 1781.  Ann's father was Mathew Rack and her mother was Jane Paddison.  Her paternal grandparents were William Rack and Anne Sommerscales. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Mathew, Rebecca, Jane, Arabella and Billy.  She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Mary.  She died in 1781 in Killingholme, Lincoln, England.
