William was born in 1854 and his baptism took place on March 26th, 1859 in St Newlyna.  William's father was William Varcoe and his mother was Elizabeth Nancarrow.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Varcoe and Elizabeth Searle. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Alfred, Robert, Ellen, Bessie, Emma, Mary, Christiana and Matilda.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.



William's family

‌William and Jane were married in 1885.  There are possibly some children.
