Emma was born in 1849 and her baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna.  Emma's father was William Varcoe and her mother was Elizabeth Nancarrow.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Varcoe and Elizabeth Searle. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, William, Robert, Ellen, Bessie, Mary, Christiana and Matilda.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.



Emma's family

‌Emma and George were married in 1869.  There are possibly some children.
