William Varcoe 
William was born in 1810. William's father was Robert Varcoe and his mother was Elizabeth Searle. He died at the age of 84 on February 1st, 1894 in Windsor, Christchurch. He was buried in Papanui.
William and Elizabeth were married on December 23rd, 1845. They had three sons and six daughters, named Alfred, William, Robert, Ellen, Bessie, Emma, Mary, Christiana and Matilda.

Alfred Varcoe
Alfred was born in 1843 and his baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna. He died at the age of 25 on November 13th, 1868.
Ellen Varcoe
Ellen was born in 1844 and her baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna. She died at the age of 20 in 1864. She was buried on March 31st, 1864 in St Albans, Christchurch.
Bessie Varcoe
Bessie was born in 1846 and her baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna. She died at the age of 19 in 1865. She was buried on June 6th, 1865 in St Albans, Christchurch.
Emma Celina Varcoe
Emma was born in 1849 and her baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna.
William John Varcoe
William was born in 1854 and his baptism took place on March 26th, 1859 in St Newlyna.
Christiana Varcoe
Christiana was born in 1855 and her baptism took place on March 26th, 1859 in St Newlyna. She died at the age of 79 in 1934 in Christchurch.
Matilda Varcoe
Matilda was born in 1857 and her baptism took place on March 26th, 1859 in St Newlyna. She died at the age of 85 on February 15th, 1942 in Christchurch. The funeral took place in St Saviour's Church of England. She was buried in Sydenham.
Robert Varcoe
Robert was born in 1863 and his baptism took place on October 11th, 1863 in St Newlyna. He died in 1863 in At Sea.
